IRCTC eWallet review by users who have registered with this scheme:
- There is a problem while registering with the scheme. Even after providing the correct PAN number and First Name on PAN card, users getting the error "First Name incorrect", said Nirmal Kumar and Suba, Madhan.
- According to Saurabh, Murthy, and others, it is useless to book a ticket from 8 AM to 12 PM because these are the peak hours to book Tatkal tickets.
- There is a registration fee of Rs. 250 for the IRCTC e-Wallet scheme. “From what I have heard so far, this is a total waste unless you travel a lot. Registration fees of 250 non-refundable and 5 or 10 Rs per ticket additional. This will probably be more than what a credit charge charges. And on top of it, it can’t be used between 8 and 12. So total waste,” said Krishnaraj.
- Also, most of the users doubt that how much someone will save by preventing payment gateway charges.
